Welcome to Prof. William Epling, University of Virginia our subcontracted partner! He will characterize CH4 oxidation and SO2 oxidation over selected catalysts. This will be accomplished through reactor and chemisorption studies to obtain reaction rates and kinetics, as well as through some surface characterization for mechanistic inquiry within WasteIIFuel project.
